In which I played at the Taste of Music festival in Snohomish, WA this weekend!

Here’s a picture of me being a rockstar:

Taste of Music is a groovy little music festival in Snohomish, near Seattle. They book tons of bands into multiple venues all within walking distance of each other, and have bigger acts on the main stage in the middle of town. You pay $12 for a wrist band that gets you into everything, and fans and musicians alike wander freely and enjoy the atmosphere.

Saturday night we did a gig at Stewart’s, a cool bar with great ‘tenders and a fantastic crowd who stayed up late to see us. Sunday afternoon we competed in the International Blues Challenge state finals, but we didn’t win. Oh, well — maybe next year! My cousin came to see our IBC set, and even bought me lunch!

I had a great time, met awesome people, and got to stand around and gab with tons of musicians. Whoo! Festival gigs FTW!
