just upgraded to the latest version of WP, and the new editing module writes THE UGLIEST FUCKING CODE I HAVE EVER FUCKING SEEN. it’s horrific. it uses “blocks” and can’t do goddamned html without the most absurd markup, i hate it so much, why do people have to fuck with things that aren’t broken? like, WHO is the target user for this horrific interface? no newbie could navigate it, because it’s all counter-intuitive jargony bullshit!
