In which I love these Mac-and-PC commercials.

I’m a Windows user, but that’s only because I’ve been really poor for a long time. When I get cash flow again, though, I’m buyin’ me a Mac.

Widgets, gadgets, completely different things. LOL! Yeah, Vista’s nothing like OSX. NOTHING. LIKE. IT.

A friend of mine just bought a Mac and I was blown away by what it could do. I’m still old school too. Maybe, just maybe, my next computer will be a Mac.

Macs used to suck for troubleshooting network issues because there was no access to tools. Now, though, OSX is *nix-based so one can ping and stuff, so there’s zero reason not to go Mac. Well, except for the fact that all my stolen software is for PC, that is. *blush* -m

In recent years, I’ve been reading more and more Mac hardware horror stories (primarily about various laptops), and apparently their customer service has become total crap. Even so, I still drool at the thought of a high-end, multi-proc desktop Mac with dual 30″ flat panels. The system I configured on the Apple website came in at a little over $8000. I would definitely get a Mac before attempting to use Linux (which still has way too steep a learning curve for me), but I’ll probably just stick to running Windows on high-end hardware.

Linux is getting more and more GUI. The last Red Hat install I did — on a laptop, what a pain in the ass — revealed a very cute opsys, and useable too. You’re a tinkerer; you should set up some old box and slap Linux on it and play around. THEN buy an OSX machine and weep with joy. The cuteness. Oh, the cuteness! -m

I’m afraid of change. I guess I’ll stick with Windows, for now.

    Mickey is awfully hawt!

Yes, yes he is. In a reesty, young, skinny bisexual junkie hustler sort of way. Did you download the MP3s I posted earlier? Huh? Didja? -m
