In which there’s dog love.

Picture027.jpgJust got back from lunch. Bread came and picked me up and we got tacos and sat under a tree at Whitham Woods to eat. Then we stopped at TSC for dog and cat food, then he drove me to the jeep. He’d already changed the tire and it was on its tiny little doughnut.

He took the jeep, I took his truck and came back to work.

Bread brought all three of the dogs into town with him ’cause he wasn’t thinking, and it’s too hot to leave them in a vehicle and too weird to take all three of them to a shop and leave ’em in the jeep while the tires are getting changed. So I’ve got Bindu under my desk because Bread didn’t really want three of them with him. Somehow two are easier to manage than three.

Oh, that blue dog. HOW CUTE IS SHE?!?!?

Put the dog to work 🙂 Surely he can surf the net’ or run some cables for you?

Mm, btw, I somehow clicked on a random image and found myself at an entry about socks! YOU? knit socks!?! I’m begging, pleading!?! you to teach me!? I can knit, but not socks. Too many damn needles an all that yarn…ugh.

Oh hell yes. This is how you learn to knit socks: go here, knit these slippers. There. Now you know how to knit socks, you just do them on smaller needles at a finer gauge! -m

She is adorable! That’s so cool that you could bring your dog in to work with you! (Do you take her to the bathroom with you though? I got yapped at by some little toy dog a few months ago–it poked its head under my stall door whilst I peed. I love dogs, but I was tempted to kick that particular one into the middle of next week. Or maybe just kick it’s owner… one of those Paris Hilton wannabes, ya know?)

I only brought her inside because the truck is black and it was way too hot to leave her in it. Plus, she’s 10 now, so she’s mellow enough not to bark or snap and will stay under my desk. As for the bathroom, yeah I take her in, but it’s a single-user dealie so she’s not bothering anyone else! -m

I’m glad you aren’t one to leave dogs in your car… I hate seeing that. Especially in warm weather. Good thing on the one-person washroom. But she sounds like a cool dog anyway, probably has enough manners to leave someone alone when they are tinkling. 🙂

I leave ’em in the car if the temp is acceptable, but not when it’s too hot. -m
