In which if it weren’t so boring, it’d be shocking how boring it is.
Today I accomplished the following:
- Slept in.
- Made lunch.
- Made coffee.
- Ate.
- Dipped Bindu (because fleas are evil and deserve to die).
- Took a nap.
- Walked to the Dead Cock for a veggie burger and some drinks.
- Walked home.
- Read several chapters of a good book.
- Started a sleeve on the big brown sweater I’ve been knitting since last winter.
- Wrote this post.
It’s true. I really am this bland sometimes. I know you all think of me as a rock star and all, but honestly it’s hard to rock out when you’re broke and have no car.
Don’t look at me! It makes me shy!
thats a lot for one day! Sorry about your Jeep. I was a Jeep owner for 20 years + and they were never easy nor cheap to fix! 🙁
That does seem to be true. *sigh* -m
Sometimes the boring days are the ones you remember, doing the mundane. Mowing the yard, a dragonfly landed on my shoulder.
Life is good. And now I need way more coffee.
Ooh, yeah, a coffee sounds good. -m
We all live in the mundane. I, personally, love the lazy daze of summer. May your life perk to the intensity you desire, dear Mushlette!
*smooch* -m
See, and I have too much to do. Wanna trade?
Hmm. I dunno. Are your things fun? 😉 -m
i got up.
i squired wd-40 into the box fan cuz it was squeaking.
i sat on the couch.
i read comics.
i made toast with tomato (toastylicious)
i started cleaning the kitchen and around the stove.
now i’m sitting and taking a break while fans blow really hot air on me cuz it’s fucking hot here.
Fucking hot! -m
Um, honey, sounds like a lot of my days. Okay not exactly but not that far off. These days, most days include hellious data entry on a buggy new db. And writing a lot of emails. Little reading and an embarrassing amount of tv.
Damn TV. -m
