1. I live in Fairfield, IA, Walla Walla, WA USA.
2. I was married for five years. Marriage is both cooler and more boring than I’d envisioned.
3. I studied opera when I was younger.
4. I have often sung in bands and starred in musicals.
5. I really like to cook.
6. I majored in music, literature, and history in college. (Not all at once.)
7. I used to work at an ISP in the engineering department. I know a lot about networking computers together, DNS, and general Internet stuff.
8. I taught myself HTML and CSS and graphic design and have built a few websites professionally. None of them are all that stunning, but hey. I majored in lit fer chrissakes.
9. My dog Bindu is a full-blooded runt of an Australian Cattle Dog, otherwise known as a blue heeler. ACDs are a really intense and interesting breed.
10. I read all the time.
11. I hate tapioca.
12. I sometimes eat the heads off of burnt matches.
13. People tell me all the time that I’m funny.

17. My hobbies are reading, maintaining goblinbox.com, knitting, yoga/meditation/prayer, skinning PPC apps, and cooking. My anti-hobbies (meaning I don’t want to do them) are sewing, gardening, and decorating.

42. I love reading ebooks because of electronic dictionaries. When confronted with a word I don’t know, all I have to do is tap on it. Brilliant! I’ve actually reached out and tapped unfamiliar words in treeware more than once.

44. My favorite car ever was the beat-up old ‘73 Plymouth Duster with a three-on-the-floor that I drove in junior college.

Gravy. Yum! Mom taught me how to make gravy too. Her little secret is using cornmeal instead of flower to avoid clumps.
